BAD AT MATH is born from a pop-inspired imagination, bringing color and warmth into everyday life.
Each bag, handmade in Italy, is a genderless piece of art, crafted not only with beads and thread but with thoughts, passion, and love for the creative process. These unique accessories can even double as decorative objects. With its unmistakable style and ethical production, the brand is gaining recognition not just in Italy but also in the Oriental markets.
Each BAD AT MATH bag tells a story of sustainability and respect for resources. If a piece doesn’t sell, it is carefully dismantled, and the beads are reused to create new designs. This circular process eliminates waste and reinforces the brand’s commitment to ethical production. Every creation is not just an accessory but a symbol of responsible and conscious design
Roberto is the actor of a postmodern Dolce Vita realness. He has been an apprentice at Gaetano Navarra, one of the most iconic knitters in Italy, but his relationship with needle and thread started as a young kid, helping his mum sew.
He helped her in this ceremony of the needle entering in a deep metaphor of a connection of love and heritage of know-how, genius, tradition and attention.
This process made Roberto grow up in a context of deep respect for all the fashion gestures, while at the same time he got lost in a multicentric pop culture mix of research and innovation. So in 2020, Roberto came out with the brand BAD AT MATH, where he puts his poetic pop-soul in a dystopian plastic fantasy ready to be your next purse.
